Please join us in this unique guided meditation-style class for the self help (self care) practice of Jin Shin Jyutsu!
Clear away physical, mental, and emotional imbalances.
Experience deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and/or (pain, tension, stress) relief.
Learn tools you can use everyday for your well-being.
You lie on a yoga mat or sit in a comfortable position on a chair as Michelle's calm and gentle voice guides you through a series of hands-on energy harmonizing exercises (from the Jin Shin Jyutsu Self Help books by Mary Burmeister) that you apply to your own body.
Each class is unique as Michelle is inspired to share in the moment pertinent information about the energy pathway, or the safety energy lock, or the attiude(s), and so on.
One participant explains: "It's so very simple. You…follow Michelle's instruction on where to place your hands. At first, you're thinking, ‘what is this?’ Then, before you know it, you're in another space, and you're not really sure how you got there, but the experience is truly profound. You feel like a new person at the end of class. It's simply amazing."
What is Jin Shin Jyutsu:
Widely known more than 3,000 years ago, the ancient wisdom of Jin Shin Jyutsu was dramatically revived by Japanese Master Jiro Murai in 1912 after he cleared himself of a “terminal” illness. Jin Shin Jyutsu is applied to the body through gentle touch and can be received from a trained practitioner or applied to one’s self. Mary Burmeister, brought the knowledge of this ancient wisdom to America and wrote a series of self help books with projects for daily health maintenance and to address energetic imbalances. You will experience one or more of the self help projects from these books in each class.
No previous experience required! Join us for one or more classes!
Comfort is key. Yoga mats, blankets, and chairs are provided, or bring your own.
You might also want to bring pillow(s) to use as prop(s) for your arms.
Michelle Giambra, a Natural Choice Awards “Favorite Energy Healer” and “Favorite Holistic Practitioner,” teaches self-help and provides personal energy balancing sessions in her studio at Rosemary Court Yoga.
