In this casual lecture & experiential Self Help (Self Care) PlayShop, you:
· Learn how to properly hold each of the 8 Finger Poses
· Understand the physical, mental, and emotional applications of each pose
· Identify which pose(s) are most beneficial for you
· Experience a dynamic, profound 50-minute guided practice of the poses
Widely known more than 3,000 years ago, Jin Shin Jyutsu was dramatically revived by Japanese Master Jiro Murai in 1912 after he cleared himself of a “terminal” illness. A unique healing art, Jin Shin Jyutsu enhances the body-mind-spirit connection while providing tools to maintain and restore the harmonious flow of life energy for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Facilitated by Michelle Giambra, the 2014 “Nattie” Awards Winner in two categories: “Favorite Energy Healer” and “Favorite Holistic Practitioner.” Michelle is a Certified Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner and Self-Help Instructor with more than 17 years’ experience. In addition to facilitating self care classes, she provides personal hands-on energy balancing sessions in her Suncoast Jin Shin Jyutsu studio at Rosemary Court Yoga.

Clear away physical, mental, and emotional tension and debris from the week and start your weekend restored with relaxation and peace. Michelle’s voice calmly guides you through hands-on energy harmonizing exercises that you apply to your own body. An ancient art and science, and sometimes rigorous workout, that strengthens the nervous system, balances the glandular system and helps to harness the energy of the mind and emotions and facilitate greater awareness. The class includes pranayam (breath work), posture sequences (kriyas), mantras, meditation, and relaxation. The class is both invigorating to the body and calming to the mind. It is about waking up!
